I'm a freshman college student, and I'm staying at the dorm with my friend. Strangely, I feel like we're not alone. Arounf midnight, I hear this eerie "tap, tap, tap" in dormitory corridor. Like someone's walking. Sometimes, there's this feeling that someone's in the room with us. There's this chair in our dorm, and my friend and roommate TJ doesn't want to sit in that same exact chair! One time, I got out of bed and looked out the window. I saw this figure of a lonely Spanish girl, watching the waves. She's sobbing. The, she disappeared! The same thing happens every night. She's there, watching the waves with an air of melancholy.

That's not unusual. Is the place old? Been around for a while? You should check the history, see if anybody died around that area. You might find her. But she seems to be a lost soul, meaning she hasn't crossed into the light yet, and she's obviously mourning something she lost before she died. She'll continue to do that every night until and unless someone finds out what happened and sets her to rest. You might consider saying a prayer for her, asking that the angels come to guide her into the light so that her soul can be at rest.

When you hear the tap actually go into the corridor and try to locate the sound. Also see if there is a person walking in the corridor.
You are not being very clear about the chair why does your friend not want to sit in the chair? Is it ugly, not comfortable, too small, ...?
You have described the Urban Legend La Llorona. You got most of the details right, Spanish, sobbing, by the water (although it's usually a river not the ocean). However, its interesting that you can read her mind and know that she is lonely and yet don't know (via her mind) how to comfort her. The same thing happens every night and yet you a freshman college student (male) have made no effort to be on the beach at the same time a lonely distressed woman shows up. I respect that everyone has a right to their own sexual preferences but I would hope that just because you might lack a sexual interest you might still be kind enough to want to comfort a crying women.

What's most intriguing about your story is that you were able to discern the nationality of this girl from such a distance, and not only that, you can see that she's lonely and melancholy. And you saw this at night! Frankly, that's amazing. But then, you are Superboy after all.
The rest of your story doesn't sound too impressive.

a.) Investigate the tapping. It's probably just water pipes.
b.) Get some friends so you have less time to worry about silly things liking being watched.
c.) Drink beer. That way you will sleep through any spooky feelings or annoying noises.
d.) Enroll in some science classes as soon as possible.
You are entering one of the best periods of your life. Enjoy it.
P.S. How can you tell the sobbing girl is from Spain?

Well I don't think these phenomenons are tooooo eerie, lol I wouldn't worry too much about it. Most of the "supernatural" experiences ppl encounter are based on perfectly normal things plus a dash of imagination.

The tapping is from the contracting of wood panels in the cool air at night. The feeling that someone's in the room is in your head, and you seem to be halucinating about some spanish broad.
I'd reccomend a pizza and beer with Heroes on DVD.

1) you live in a haunted dormitory that no one but you is experiencing
or
2) fruitcakes envy you
well, my choice is a no-brainer. isnt it?
