Which do you prefer when you die? To be buried or to be cremated. I think I will choose to be buried cause I don't like the idea of being burned I'd rather be buried intact.

I feel the same way. Cremation has it's advantages. It is cheaper and your body doesn't take up much space. Your body doesn't get bloated and eaten by worms.
Even though I am no longer Christian the bible says our bodies will rise up. How can it do this if you are ashes. Some people believe there will be a day when they can bring people back to life. There is a company that will fill your head with antifreeze. lol. Not sure they can bring you back to life after all that.
I took a class on dying. It discussed several different cultures and beliefs. That is where I heard about the antifreeze in the head to preserve it.
Anyway I can't explain it for some reason I feel being buried is the way to go. Maybe a tomb or a wooden casket would be nice.
I don't want a super fancy water proof casket. They will also try to sell you a vault which your casket goes in to keep it from being crushed from the weight of the earth. I don't think I'll be needing that either. I think I will plan my funeral soon. Maybe in the next couple of years.

It's hard to say...either way you're going to end up being dirt...one way is just quicker than the other...I guess I would go with being cremated...that way my children can always have a piece of me when I'm gone...I don't like the idea of rotting in a box for years to come.

I want to be cremated. I know it is silly, but I can't stand the thought of rotting underground. Also I can have my ashes put somewhere that means something to me. I guess partly it could be that all of my past family have been cremated. My Mum's parents are in a niche in a church (that is what they wanted) and my Dad's parents ashes were put into the grave of one of their closest parents. (that is what they wanted) My parents both want to be cremated. So history could be part of it.

Cremated after they use what they can to help someone else- I am an organ donor. Then sprinkle me where something wild grows.

i agry, i would also like to bured intact, but in some religions its what they do to there family is to burn them. i not worried obout it, u shouldn't eather worrie about it its normal for a family to do that in the world.
