My computer came with MS Word and one day it just disappeared off of my computer. I am a college student and absolutely need MS Word for my English Comp class. I can't go to the store to buy the cd's to download it because my cd drive broke and I'm almost at the end of my 60 day trial. Any suggestions as to how to get MS word back on my comp without having to spend a fortune?

Okay for those of you who just answered being complete jerks... MICROSOFT WORD COMPLETELY DISAPPEARED FROM MY COMPUTER!!! AS IN GONE, NO LONGER FOUND ON MY COMP!! I need to figure out how to get it back because I have to do college English Comp essays using only MS word. Any suggestions since I can't necessarily put in the disk for it cause my cd rom drive is broken and I am almost done with my free trial that I had to download?

You can use Open Office -- a free suite which can be converted at no cost online, at www.media.convert.com

download Open Office here:

If Microsoft has not yet disabled Word, you can try clicking Start, Programs, and see if it is still here.

Probably the only 2 options I can think of are:

Download MS Office torrent from torrentspy.com or

copy the contents of someone elses office cd to a flash drive or over a network to your PC and install it that way (or use a USB optical drive if you can gain access to one)

Your only option is to go to a friend who has MS World CD. Copy the contents of the CD in a flash drive/USB drive and install it.
