WWE released him last week finally along with Sharmell. He seemed to have had some problems involving steroids and/or drugs and suspended during the drug scandal when 10 more more superstars were suspended. Then I heard rumors of him being fed up with WWE and how they treat him and thus they just suspended him. He will likely go to TNA with a new gimmick.

From what I have read, he is now going to TNA, although they really don't need him at all.
He was suspended for 60 days for having a second offence against him for illegal prescriptions with the new WWE wellness policy. During which, he asked for his release. WWE didn't want to give him his release so instead they fired him.
Take this for what it is worth but...
Brother Devon Dudly has a new smoothie place ("3d's Smoothies" or something like that) about 30 seconds from my house. On the sign out front it has an ad stating that "King Booker T" will be making an appearance there in the coming weeks.

He left the WWE now he has his own wrestling promotion in his hometown Houston,Texas.

yeah he got fired and is definitely going to tna. he is signing with tna either this week or the next.
