Kevin Myles

Not feeling "Memphis" ... has me thinking of "Gone in 60 Seconds". Great movie, but if I were choosing a name from it, I'd pick Raine, not Memphis

Congratulations

I live in Memphis area and my sons name is Blake..so I found this choice interesting. I love the name Blake and still get compliments on the name for my son so I am a bit biased.
The root name and history of the name Blake is very masculine whereas Myles is more effeminate (not being a bad thing neccesarily in my opinion) so they could balance each other out, I like James more than Kevin, and Memphis...I am just not feeling it either. It has a feminine ring to it in my opinion also. So..my vote is Blake James or James Blake...for some reason..even though my sons first name is Blake..I like the sound of James Blake Diffely. I would also like Blake Myles Diffely. I still think Myles would be a better suited middle name. It also depends on where you live believe it or not. Kids in the south I think would be harder on a boy with even a slighter effeminate name and the middle name is not used as much.

I love:
Kevin James Diffely and Blake Kevin Diffely.

Both are very cute and cool sounding. Myles Kevin Diffley is another favorite, but I do not like Memphis Kevin at all.

I'm gonna do a bit of a switcheroo and go with
Blake Myles Diffely (don't like Myles much but goes well as a middle name) or
Blake James Diffely - 'BJ'

I don't like Kevin, Memphis or Myles for first names. So my pick would be Blake or second choice, James (Jamie is cute)

Best of luck deciding!

Blake Kevin or James Blake (sorry for mixing them up!) Diffely sound the best. Memphis seems more like a girl's name to me, since I know someone who goes by Mem, which I think is traditionally a girl's nickname (for the name Remembrance). Instead of Myles, I like the variation Milo better, but I don't know if that goes with your style (the -y- in Myles just bothers me for some reason lol).

I like Blake Kevin because the k's kind of connect the whole thing, but I also like James Blake because a) you can never go wrong with James (unless your last name is Thames or something), and b) sometimes Blake could come off as a little pretentious (though I really love it myself) so he could always go by James or Jamie if other kids don't respond well to it.

Anyway, congrats and good luck with your baby!

PS I think there's an actor out there called Kevin James - I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure it's the same guy. Anyway, he's not really the kind of person I think you want to name your son after (no offense to anyone who likes him out there)!

I like "Blake Diffely" the best but definitely not with Kevin because it's hard to say the two k's right next to each other. So if you absolutely have to have Kevin as part of the name (and it looks that way) I guess I like Kevin James the best...or James Kevin which I like even better.

I like Kevin James. Or Kevin Blake, I know I reversed it but I think it rolls off the tongue better that way with Diffely. Good Luck and congratulations on the new baby.
