Definitely the Super Nintendo. It had many great games and most of them unique to the console. Also, although many competitors attempted to best it with addons and better graphics capabilities, SNES was able to draw many ooo's and aww's with its hardware.
At many times, it even bested consoles with higher graphics and sound capabilities by having the better version of multi platform games. A good example would be doom for the SNES compared to DOOM for the Sega 32x.
Also, the controller was a simple and easy to understand design which allowed developers plenty of room to work with. This made games easy to play and with an abundance of abilities in each game.
All in all, I think the SNES is the 2nd best console of all time, bested only by the Sega Dreamcast.
I mean think about it. Who can resist even to this day when someone says "Hey! Wanna play Super Nintendo?". I sure can't. I've seen people pass on the others, but not the mighty SNES...

The Super Nintendo. For 2 reasons: Legend of Zelda - A Link to the Past and Final Fantasy 6 (it was released as FF3 back then). I still play both games on my SNES occasionally.
