I once had a cat that was mad about cooked green beans. She also liked cooked carrots and potatoes. I don't see any real benefit to giving veggies to a cat, but if she likes them, I don't see any harm in a little. I've heard you shouldn't give her onions. I have heard that canned plain pumpkin (not pumpkin pie mix) is great for preventing hairballs, and cats love it (who knew?). They say a teaspoonful a day is fine. I haven't tried it, because we don't have a big problem with hairballs. You could try that if you wanted. I think I would ask my vet for his advice if I was going to get very experimental. A safe route would be small amounts of cooked meat, without bones. But most of a cat's diet should come from cat food. It has the proper nutrients a cat needs. At dinner time I give each cat a spoonful of canned cat food, and I rotate among the different flavors, that's how I give them some variety. You can also buy a variety of treats in different flavors.

No. In fact, it should be scared of me, because I want to track it down, and make a big-@$$ pumpkin pie out of it.
