when i was having sex the other night things were going pretty good.....until all the sudden my guy said i was bleeding all over. i didnt think he was serious until i saw for my self. i had just had my period a little over a week ago so i knew it wasn't that. It soaked through 3 layers of sheets and continued to bleed for a while. The condom broke (but we quickly put on another one....).... There is about a 1cm cut right outside the opening of my vagina.... Is there any explanation for this? Is it possible for this to happen during sex? if so....why? I didnt feel any pain at all...but that was probably because i was pretty drunk, as was he. It stung like hell to pee for the next day or so....but it doesnt hurt anymore now. If anyone can help me out on this id REALLY REALLY apprecate it! Thanks!

Women can get infections causing their uterus to become inflamed. It's not an std. It just happens. When it becomes inflamed, you will bleed during intercourse. Have you had sex since then and did it bleed again? Your doctor can do a simple vaginal swab to find the problem. Antibiotics will cure the infection. I had similar problems myself.

I strongly suggest you see your OB/GYN soon. That is not normal and you may want to review in your mind if your guy was too rough or something he was doing (long nails, rough hands, etc.) could have contributed.
