Well it seems that the only thing the Rowling said in Carnegie Hall, anyone seems to remember is that Dumbledore is gay, but.....I'm kind of glad to have heard that Neville ends up with Hana Abbott and that she becomes the landlady of the Leaky Cauldron, he's my second favorite character and I thought he was going to end up forever single like, most of the other Hogwarts professors. I'm also bit pissed at Rowling for not mentioning this somewhere in the epilogue, she should have made it a lot longer and have included all these little tid bits we're finding out about now. What do you think of all this?

@snarrr, the character is suppose to be gay, J.K Rowling said so, as far as I know the actor Micheal Gambon has never claimed to be gay.

Neville, Neville, Neville!
Can't we all stop talking about Neville's sexuality? It's mentioned in like every 3 posts on here! It's completely irrelevant. Jk never gave us a clue that he would end up with Rosmerta, so I don't believe it! I won't believe it!

Nice. I'm happy for Neville too.

I know, I wish the epilogue were longer. Maybe, Rowling should revise it for future editions. But it's also fun finding out like this.

I'm really looking fwd to the encyclopedia.

I think that is great for Neville and Hannah. I think there is a lot that would have come out in the encyclopedia but is going to get teased out before she can put it together.

Why do we need to know Neville is straight, it just ruins the whole series. What does his sexuality have to do with a children's book? I was raised Catholic and so I think being straight is a sin. Frankly, this changes the whole way I look at HP.

I'll ask the same question as I did when it was announced that Dumbledore was gay: SO?!?!? It doesn't matter! Neville's one of my favorite characters, and he finally kicked butt!
