How can I make a cartesian diver in water?? Thanks guys!?

so i have to have th things float at first then sink to the bottom when i squeeze it in water. any ideas?

A little trial and error place a 'test tube' partly filled with water so that it barely floats to the top. Did I say put that tube in the transparent 2-liter bottle of soda mostly filled with water? So now you know.

Close the top and squeeze that bottle and ... It dives, it dives!
