What is the governing body for soccer in England? I used to think it was FIFA, but it seems to me now it is not so. FIFA is based in Switzerland!

Every continent has their own governing body that "governs" the countries within them.
So for England, they would be under UEFA.

FIFA is the governing body of the world.

We don`t have soccer in England, i think you mean Football!!

That`s why they are called the Football Association.
