i am 30 years old and have high blood presure and want to know if i can still have a baby someday if i ever find mr right i am takeing enalapril maleate 5mg tablets and atenolol 50mg tablets. i take one of each everyday. what are the risk if i can ever have a baby. thanks for the help and info want my own family someday if i can find right guy that wants the same thing. i got high blood presure at age 28 now i am 30. ps anyway i can get it down i whight 158 pounds but everything i go to buy to eat says it has soudim in it i dont add salt it is just already in it when i buy it dont know what i can eat that dose not have salt in it cause everything dose.

i am 35 and pregnant with my third child and i have high blood pressure. As long as it is controlled you will be fine

the high blood pressure will definitely make your pregnancy high risk...you should first try to lose weight and see if it helps. 30 is very young for high blood pressure..
not everything has salt in it. try not to buy processed foods and make your own meals, that way you control the amount of salt you are adding. i know its annoying to cook, but it's your health and you are still so young!

my mom had high blood pressure when she had me. In fact, she had had it for so long that I was a high risk pregnancy, meaning I was close to dying. And I'm living proof here today that people with high blood pressure can have children

Yes, you will be able to have a baby, maybe two.
Just watch the salt and stress and try to exercise as much as possible. Even long walks.
Eat more fruit and vegetables.
