So ... you've failed 9th grade English (which I am assuming is required for graduation). Now, in the 11th grade, you are doing poorly again because you've cut class. And now, you want us to help you cheat so that you can pass?

You might think that you are pulling a fast one here, but who you are really cheating is yourself. If the work is confusing to you, then it will be to your benefit to talk with the teacher and get help (or to your parents and try to get some sort of a tutor). Otherwise, either you won't graduate, or if you do, you'll have a hard time moving forward ... and eventually you are going to have to learn the things that you would have learned in 9th grade English.

The best thing to do is to ask yourself - what do I really want in my life? What do you think will happen if you don't graduate? What kind of job do you want? Where do you want to live? What kinds of problems would you like to solve in the world? If you are smart enough to get on yahoo and get other people to do your homework for you - then you are smart enough to read those short stories and do the work. There is nothing wrong with asking for help if you can't do it - that is what school is for. But if you keep going this way, you are only cheating yourself.

Should've failed 2nd grade english too. Let's start with being bored, correct spelling is boring, next we'll go to stories as apposed to storys... Your English teachers should be ashamed.. you now can't even articulate a sentence... Having said that, if we were all any good at writing short stories, we'd all be making the same bucks as Steven King

Once there was a question about a short story, but no one knew the title. The Questor sought help in explaining the story, but there was no title...

In the end, our hero ended up right where they began...sitting in class with no explanation of the story that no one knew.

How's that? (smile)

hey there! ok i can only help you with lamb to the slaughter cuz it's the only one i know....AND it's my FAVOURITE short story ever!!

it's about a woman who is very unhappy in her marriage. she is sitting waiting for her husband to come home. when he comes home, she gets him a drink, being the good and obedient wife she pretends to be. then she strikes him over the head with a leg of lamb and kills him. after he's dead, she proceeds to go to the supermarket and buy groceries so that she can make a great leg of lamb dinner. she comes home, makes the fanciest meal ever, calls the cops and feeds the lamb to them. all the evidence is destroyed. the murder weapon is gone. and she comes out looking like such a wonderful wife!

the end.

If you don't take control of your life, and realize that you must work for what you get, and that speaking and writing English PROPERLY (not good) is one of the main keys to success, you will be a loser. Better get your act together my friend, or you certainly will be sorry in the future.
