--Sorry Walmartpimp, misread your question and have edited answer accordingly....

---Now, can I at least get one Warner Brothers name here or do I have to threaten to bring up Fritz the Cat?

Great job, kids. I personally prefer Bugs, but the idea of him & Jessica Rabbit together in the oval office is, well, scary. We need Superman, but the opposition will accuse him of being too macho. Lisa is smarter than most and could study economics under Walter E. Williams and any Trey Parker character is a sure vote getter.
Rat from Pearls Before Swine and Dogbert also come to mind as fitting for today's political environment. Remember, we need somebody who can win!

So, in keeping with the nature of the question, and since I'm too much of an old fuddy-duddy, I have decided to put this question of cartoon democracy up for a vote of the people...

Lisa Simpson with Kyle from South Park as a vice president. I think they'd actually do a good job.

Superman would be REALLY nice at this point. He can take all the nuclear warheads from all over the world and push them into a black hole somewhere far away, then he can even fly really fast in the opposite direction as the Earth's rotation and allow us to travel back in time to before we got into this catastrophic mess, so we could prevent it. Just the reverse time travel alone would have too many wonderful possibilitites to list here...

Timmy Turner form the Fairly Odd Parents because he's got two fairy godparents that could help him change the world to a better place with the help of a little magic.

Garfield the Cat. He really has the intelligence to see through people's motivatons. Imagine him showing Dr. Ahmadinejad exactly why he (Ahm ... ) feels so ambiguously about the USA. And he's a proven pacifist, shown in his non-aggression toward mice. Nonetheless, he would be an amazing negotiator with V. Putin, who kind of resembles Jon.

Papa smurf.
He listens to reason and is very knowledgeable.
I think he would be a smurfy President. Of course he might have to get an age waiver.
