Strange things happen when you start treating countries equally.

Just imagine... Iran might wish to invade the US, or at least send inspectors, on the suspicion that nuclear technology, nuclear weapons and all sorts of other WMDs are "allegedly" present in the US.

Also, Iran might be concerned about the human rights situation in the US; no other country has a higher percentage of its own people locked up in jail. Not to mention Guantanamo, or habeus corpus, or honest elections, or.... the list goes on.

What will the Government do... let them have their Military Base ?

I think that this is a good question, because it makes Americans think. Although we are a good nation our people are somewhat propagandized by our system and government. It's good to get opposing views and the other side of the coin. And it's good for Americans to learn that they are not the best in everything. It's always good to be humble and to live in peace with your neighbor.

You do know that any country which has a U.S. base, allows it by agreement / treaty Its not like the U.S.A. invaded and refuse to leave. Even in Afghanistan the U.S. and Allies are there by the invitation of the Afghan Government. Most countries where U.S. bases are located have no problem with the Americans being there, brings a lot of money into the local economy. And since the end of the Cold War the U.S. military has been downsizing its foreign bases

Sounds reasonable to me - and it would give a little financial boost to the Miami area.
As far as Iran invading the US - bring 'em on.
And human rights, believe me, Iran isn't interested in human rights.
Iran doesn't want to compare our legal system with theirs - not even close.
Next question.

Presidential Coup, coming to a south American nation near you.

I think we'll pull out and let them struggle with the drugs.
