That is so wierd! He was in love with Grindlewald, thats like Harry being in love with Voldemort.

Dumbledore and Grindlewald were friends; Harry and Voldemort were never friends.

It doesn't matter that Dumbledore is gay.

I'm thinking it's going to be used to somehow score political points pretty soon , by those who turn all things into a political issue . .and I think this is the only reason for the announcement .

I don't get why the author came out with that now? Was she thinking it would be a PC thing to do? Isn't the series finished? I just don't get how it's relevant to the tale.
