All right, here's the story. Tomorrow, the lead singer of my favourite band of all time is going to perform a few of his new songs for a somewhat small amount of people. The thing is first come, first serve and I don't think I'd be able to get there early enough to get in. Plus, it'll be an 8-9 hour wait online.

THEN, the day after that, he is holding a meet 'n' greet at a separate place. Only thing is, to get in you have to buy the album at that location which goes on sale the day BEFORE (tuesday). So, they might have run out of albums on Wednesday (the day I was planning on going). It's doubtable they will, but there is a chance. He's quite popular as is the group he is in.

My question is: should I go to the show tomorrow to see him perform, or fulfill my very long dream of meeting him in person with the chance that I may not be able to get in from lack of available albums.

Not to mention, if I were to go both days, it would cost me over 200 dollars haha

Which should I attend?

ALSO (haha), he's just come out with an album so he will most likely be touring. I don't think I'll ever get the chance to meet him again, but I will almost definitely get to see him perform (either alone or with the group he's a part of)

The name of the guy is Dave Gahan and he's from Depeche Mode =)

Go meet in person!!! That is the best experience possible. Ask some questions, get to know him. Show him you appreciation for his music and talent. You will always be able to here the music he performs later, but meeting a performer is a much rarer event.

Meet and Greet suck. You only get to be with the guy for like two seconds and then it's picture and done.

Try to get in the show. After all I'm sure his music is the reason you love him and look up to him. There will be other chances to meet him, I'm sure about that. :)

His performer side is the one you are attracted to. Don't go meet him; you'll likely be disappointed. See him perform, though. That's what you like about him!
