I believe we were told that the reason the U.S. Troops, British troops, and others is for the freedom of the Iraqi people and to stabilize their government. So much of their Oil is sold. We buy so much Oil, why not have Iraq pay the costs of war or leave it in chaos if they do not want to pay for the war.
How many current politicians, (Republicans and Democrats), does it take to change a light bulb? Answer: ZER0, NONE, because they will leave us all in the dark and let our children and grandchildren deal with it later, after we all are retired or dead.

That is a great idea! Iraq has plenty of oil. And oil means lots of money.

Bush would rather bankrupt America through mega-deficit spending....than have the Iraqis pay their fair share of the effort.

We don't control or possess the sales of Iraqi oil. In the past we did but not any more! If the President commits fraud, our nation is responsible for paying the cost of the Iraq War. Why isn't the President and high ranking people in his administration indicted?

The Revenue from iraq oil is deciding to buy the rebuilding of iraq. The iraqis certainly not requested America or britain to invade their Country, They owe Nothing for Sadaam hussein being deposed. And this invasion used to be all on trumped up intelligence by means of Bush and Blair.

Requiring Iraq to pay for reconstruction with oil revenues, would make them want more for the oil....kinda a conflict of interest with W's boss.

also, the iraqi political structure is one of the most corrupt in the world.

and none of this oil money should be used to reconstruct the country we destroyed? in a few years i guess there will be nothing in iraq to reconstuct.. only oil,dead bodies and rubble
