While I don't support the downtown tax, I do support using cameras to protect against terrorists.

These cameras are in public places and you should not expect any privacy there.

While I'm at it, there is no such thing as a constitutional right to privacy. That's what libs use to push Roe versus Wade, but like I said, NO SUCH THING.

The fact that one Brit, who happens to act in some Hollywood movies, doesn't like to be inconvenienced by things he considers "nanny-ish", signifies nothing!

You should be thankful that Hollywood still produces movies that, for the most part, reward the good and punish the evil doers. I don't know where you get the idea that Hollywood is "Liberal"---it produced Ray-gun and John Wayne, Heston and Tom Selleck, among others----all hard-headed cons.

here's a quote from the very beginning of this article (from a periodical that i have never heard of):
"Ewan McGregor said he is sick of Britain's "ludicrous nanny state" rules..."

what does what happens in the UK have to do with hollywood?

No, this is one man's annoyance that a nation will allow its own people to sacrifice its civil liberties in the name of "security".
