Tom Brady... For years, Manning has had several advantages:
(a) He has been able to work with the same coaches and players for years, which helps in so many ways
(b) Manning has great wide recievers.. the other day i saw several off target passes by manning but his receivers were able to pull them in
(c) In his best years, (the ones where he broke most single-season records) he played against the worst teams in the NFL.. he is still doing that today
(d) He has an incredible offensive line which gives him tons of time to find an open reciever... no wonder he can "always find the open man", he has several seconds to do it every play, even on lots of blitzes
(e) He gets to play his home games in a cushy dome where he doesnt have to play with a wet football due to rain or play thru the cold..
(f) His stadium is built to increase noise levels to a ridiculous level, thus distracting the defense and messing with them
Despite all these HUGE advantages, he has only won one super bowl.. Tom Brady has won 3, and the only advantage mentioned above that he has was that his head coach was the same for a long time.. he had sub-par receivers and he played in the cold snowy new england weather.. Now, Brady has all of the above mentioned advantages (except E and F and the fact that he has had little time to get in synch with his new recievers). And now that Brady has these advantages he is shredding through mannings records.. Barring injuries or that new englands starters will be resting alot at the end of the season (because Patriots will probably clinch the AFC east by week 14), brady will have shattered the single-season TD and pass yards record by far..
Notorious, i dont know what the crap you are talking about: "There's a difference between a good QB that relies on star players and a great QB that makes due w/ the players that he has. Manning is that great QB." Manning is the QB who has had great players for a long time. Brady is the one who made due w/ whatever players he had, which were below average ones...
Also, whatever manning and the media would like you to think, i doubt Manning is a good team player.. on the monday night game at jacksonville, the offensive line broke down for one play and got to manning.. as they were leading out into the commercial, they showed manning yelling at the offensive line coach. come on, they give you all the time in the world and they have one bad play and you start whining.. come on. And soon afterwords, manning threw a pass behind his running back, which led to his drop. They quickly put the camera at manning, and he was yelling at him, apparently for not running the right route.. its ridiculous
Also, manning likes to play dirty.. He doesnt do it anymore, probably due to dungy's objections, but he did this in the 2006 and 2005 seasons: when it was third and short, he would wait for the defence to be switching packages, and he would quickly start a play so they would get caught with more then 11 players on the field.. Come on, that is the absolute gayest thing you can do.. that is so cheap it is unbelieveable.. play football dont be a pusssy and get a cheap penalty to give yourself a new set of downs.. i would not want a player like that on my team
I would take Tom Brady any day..

first off, rings do not determine how great a qb. if you go by that argument, then you would agree that you would have to take Trent Dilfer over Dan Marino. lets get realistic here. even with this said, i still would go with tom brady. he has proven he can win games and stay consistent with no talent around him. with the same talent as manning, brady is just unstopable. you cannot say the colts don't have a defense, because they have had a great defense dating back to the playoffs of last year. on top of that, i know that brady would be consistent in the playoffs, because manning was still horrible in the playoffs last year. their defense won their games. last but not least, tom brady has only half the salary of manning. brady takes pay cuts for the team to acquire more and better players. so if i were a head coach, i would take brady. my job would be easier as i wouldn't have to cut so many players and hire a lot more rookies every offseason. brady will give you consistent winning numbers at a cheaper cost. think of it not only in terms of winning, but also as a business. the cheaper with the same results, the better.
no doubt both are amazing qb's, but i give brady the edge when i consider all those factors.

Manning would be my unequivocal choice. He just comes across as a thinking QB that can make ANY team a contending team. There's a difference between a good QB that relies on star players and a great QB that makes due w/ the players that he has. Manning is that great QB.
If you hear the Pats fan a main reason they say the Pats are doing so well is because they have Moss and other "missing" pieces they didn't have before. But that would also be their excuse if Moss reverts to his usual self and starts to quit on the game. Manning will make it work whether he has Harrison or not. He's able to use his 2nd and 3rd option as well as the running game.

Brady, otherwise known as Mr. Cool....finally has the same weapons as Manning and is absolutely shredding every team in the NFL Brady has a better arm then manning and has 2 more rings. Manning is good but he is not Tom Brady.

Brady, Because he got 3 super bowls and 2 MVP's without 2 Pro bowl WR's (Harrison, Wayne)and a Pro Bowl TE (Clark). Also Brady is destroying Mannings stats this year so far and is on pace to break all kinds of season records.

Well, the guy on TV just said that John Elway was the greatest QB of all time, followed by Joe Montana. I'm a Broncos fan, and the Broncos usually beat the Patriots, so I'd have to pick Manning. The guy is really amazing.

I pick Manning because he has more control over his plays and the game than Brady does. Indianapolis has a much improved Defence which is really a help to Mannings game.

both are great QBs and will be the two of the best ever.
while tom brady may not have had weapons like peyton manning, people forget that peyton manning never had a defense like patriots either...
