No, harry potter isn't gay.
I am honestly so sick of this question...

I've already covered this in another question... but mostly I think it's hilarious.
And, more seriously, I think it's a nifty added dimension to the plot of Grindelwald to have had a relationship with Dumbledore. (or was it just one sided from Dumbledore? I couldn't tell from the article I read)
It just adds a little more to the already relatively complex character of Dumbledore. And Rowlings already on the bad side of all the extreme fundamentalist Christians, so why not go all the way?

It's a book. It provided back story and character development like all good books should.
Do I think it's some huge step for gay rights? No, it's a freaking book.
But perhaps I'm under estimating how popular the Harry Potter books have become. I know quite a few friends who have become obsessed with them, there's probably many fans out there.

I think Harry is a "Sensitive Straight". They are so difficult for us bi's and gay's to deal with.

I think that the whole thing is a stunt for publicity and for J.K to forward her political beliefs. We're talking about a fictional person here! Whatever other fictious character he chooses to have sex with should be part of the story, if relevant, and left to the imagination if not. Besides, these books are meant for kids, and I feel like they are having sexuality thrust on them way too much as it is. Can't we have an innocent sex-free story once in a while?

Well, she did create dumbledore.
It doesn't effect the story very much. Who cares if he is gay?

Why the hell does it matter if he is gay or not. Did it ruin some little crush you had? It adds another element to the story. Another thread and underlying ideas are introduced. Every good author does it.

It's the progressively fast plan of the feminization of the men in Hollywood and TV aimed specifically to the younger kids to make them fell like being a gay is normal and that gays are regular people and why not jut try to see how it is.
This kind of abomination is going to be seem more and more in movies.
