Which phase of Mitosis requires the greatest expenditure of energy?

I need sources so i can read up further and any help is greatly appreciated


I'm thinking Anaphase btw

The telophase stage involving cytokinesis (splitting of the cell membrane into two individual cells) expends the most energy. I learned this in AP Bio last year, but try googling "Telophase Mitosis" and you should get answers

DNA replication requires the most energy. I vote for interface.

no, interphase isn't part of mitosis. mitosis only consists of prophase, metaphase, anaphase, and telophase.
