no i can´t...
it seem like j.k. was just looking for anything to be the center of attention again... when she announce that
it was like ... omg how can the greates wizard ever be GAY that´s awful!!
but i will always love the books, characters and o´course j.k. =D
it´s not that i have something against gay people but this got me by surprise i would never imagine this.
but anyways if j.k. being the author says so then she should have some reasons to explain this... and i hope she does.

I don't really have a problem with it, but I also don't see the point in announcing it as kind of an afterthought. It was like, "oh, and by the way, Dumbledore is gay." Why?
By the same token, I kind of like that his homosexuality was not part of any story line or subplot. It made his being gay no more of a big deal than if he wasn't.

Actually, I got the impression when in the 7th book Dumbledore was discussing how he "loved" Grindewald. So then I started thinking that he'd never had a girlfriend or a wife. It actually makes a lot of sense.

You do recognize that Dumbledore isn't a genuine individual. JK Rowling created his entire life, she would be able to make him gay if she desires to and it is not as much as you to inform her she's incorrect...

Yea, epically if you read the last book. He seems like he made a pass, something followed and in the morning, someone freaked out.
I kind of get a little gay vibe off of Harry too. But definitely not Ron.

It doesn't matter if Dumbledore was gay, straight, bi, transgender, or whatever. He was a good guy, a great wizard/warlock, and an amazing character.

Why not? If the person that created the character says so, why question it?
Doesn't this prove the point that a person's sexual orientation isn't that big of a deal? How does your learning this about the character diminish a single thing he accomplished?

Hey, butter my butt and call me a biscuit. I suppose with a name like Dumbledore, I should have seen it coming.
