If you can't save them from toilet rolls or paper towels;-{
try mailing tubes from the Post Office or UPS etc.

You can probably call Charmin, or the company who makes your tissue and see if they will sell you some. Have you tried your craft store? See if they may be able to help you. I would try what Robert suggested and go with may be some mailing tubes you would get from the post office, or UPS or something. You can also ask your friends to save you their rolls, but of course you would be risking bacteria there, so I'm not sure if that would be a really good idea.
Or you can Google, "toilet paper rolls" and see what it brings up. They might have some answers for you there.

A craft store or a tissue paper company might sell you some...
I've collected about 15 or 20 so far, I think.
I don't know why I'm collecting them, but I think they might come in handy someday... :)

Don't know how many you need, but if they are for a class project of some sort, can't you just ask familes and friends to save them?
