Have you ever written a poem in the style of a poet you like? That's what I attempted with this one...did it work? Anyway, I don't know if I should add some stanzas in the middle...okay, I've talked too much already. :) Please tell me what you think.

~Stopping by a House on an Autumn Afternoon!
I thought I would drop by the house once more--
A passing whim, on an autumn day;
I had some time to walk this way,
And take a glance by the old green door.
Ivy has grown over most of the walls,
And the garden is a shambles, though beautiful still;
Dust has covered the window sills,
But it was always like that, if I recall.
I stepped inside, for a minute or two--
So like the old times, yet very changed:
Only me, on tip-toe, so as not to disarrange,
Instead of all our merry group.
Oh! I shall always, always remember--
Though years do pass, and heads turn gray--
The nights we danced and the things we would say,
Though such time are gone, and though

I am so sorry, the last stanza was incomplete. The last line is:
"Though such times are gone, and though it be November."
