Eric, Eric: He did not get kicked out of Greenland. The world was just finishing a drought and the winters were horrible, they almost all starved. They went back to the North countries and brought back new settlers with them. It was on one of these transits that they ended up in both Labrador and Nova Scotia. They have found diggings and artifacts in both places and attribute these to Lief Erickson.
It's also believe he traveled up what is now the St. Lawrence sea way into the Great lakes and visited the lands around them.
