GNR came so late along with skid row and poison so they dont make it... BOC was way before 80s like Zep..so i am mainly saying 80s bands..but its cool except for the one who hates VH...thats my list all in order from the 80s...VH all the way:)

I didnt think Aerosmith was 80s but in the mainstream and my life i got into them at this time...VH started late 80s i didnt say kiss because they had alot in the 70's....but oh well

I could never get into Def Leppard, Van Halen does nothing for me, Motley Crue just plain sucks (as with most if not all hair metal bands), and Journey has some very skilled musicians, but they wasted their time doing power ballads.

Let's see if I can form an 80's list:

Not really in the right order, and I probably can add a couple more artists, but the 80's weren't too good.

I like all the bands on your list, but my least favorite would be rush and favorite from the 80s would be Def Leppard.

RUSH!!!!!!! Rush is in a league of their own. Always on my top 10.

I also enjoy Journey and Metallica, and I would love Van Halen if David Lee Roth didn't piss me off so much.

My top 10... er... that's hard to say since alot of the bands that I listen to are from the 70's and continue onto the 80's (ie Pink Floyd) so I guess it would go : Pink Floyd, Rush, Boston, Queen, Metallica, The Flaming Lips, The Cure, REM, Yes and New Order.

Gosh they are the two great a protracted time yet I extremely choose the 70s reason the music become somewhat greater useful and that i additionally loved the style you probably didn't wish the image to succeed not merely like the 80s. The 80s besides the incontrovertible fact that did not have as many sappy love songs like the 70s did

All but Van Halen, Journey and Rush...I never really got into them. I liked a few VH songs, but not all that many.

I have to toss in GNR and Poison in there too.

*edit...I forgot about Skid Row..I liked them alot too. And I still like old Prince stuff (*blushes*)
