Every elephant will have a different number of blood cell - just like any human. Their size, weight, sex, general health will determine how many blood cells it has.
There is NO "prescribe" number of blood cells in any living organism.

And I don't think anyone has gone out and count the cells in an elephant.

There is no answer to that question. It is called a Fermi question. To get your points you are supposed to show how you calculated the answer.

So go research how many blood cells per ounce of blood, and the volume of an elephants blood, you should be able to calculate this.
