Armagedon will be the end of the world as we see it now. The Supreme Being will look at how we have treated this beautiful planet and will say enough is enough and in an instant we will be gone, lights out, adios, see ya in the next life.

It all depends on who you listen to. The religious folks have their own definition and description of Armaggedon.
Armageddon is the final climactic battle between God and Satan, described in the Book of Revelation in the Christian New Testament. The term is also used more generally to refer to an apocalyptic catastrophe.

So it could be anything - God Himself come down to Earth, the impact of a huge comet with the planet, the sun exploding, or a nearby star going supernova. All of these are highly unlikely, and certainly have no scientific basis to any of them being even remotely possible (as far as we know).

So your guess or belief is as good as mine.

As for what I will be doing, that will depend on when it will happen and what will happen.

No one except God knows the answer to this question.
No one know where the Garden of Eden was either.
God created EVERYTHING as we know it and will destroy it when it is it's proper time.It won't be long.
This war will be a war again God and satan and God will win. This is NO fairy tale story.Remember satan too was created by God and He will destroy him too once and for all.
I hope and pray you chose the winning side here before it's too late. After you die it's too late.
Praise GOD for His victory over satan and his angels.
The time may be soon but we do not and can not predict it.There will be a second coming of Jesus Christ and it will be like a thief in the night. No one knows the time or hour when He (Jesus)will return to take His believers home to heaven forever.
Our souls will spend either eternity in heaven or hell. It's our free will choice if we believe Jesus was God and man at the same time or He was just a plain man.It will be choice for our eternity after our body dies.
The book of Revelation tell all about then end of world as we know it.
I hope you get to study it.It WILL ALL come to pass just as God for saw it ALL from the beginning of creation of universe and of the Earth and man.
I have NO DOUBT in my mind GOD is REAL and sent His Son Jesus to Earth to LOVE and to SAVE us.

I think it is a mythical battle between good and evil, not different then gotterdamerung. Why do you say it is close? Do you have some insight that has escaped the rest of us?

You said that Armageddon is 'close'- do you believe in the 2012 prophecy? I don't believe it will happen, but if it does... then there will be obliteration, and it won't matter what any of us are doing.

Armageddon will not be. The concept of a final reckoning is from the realm of fiction, not reality.

The End.
Of Everything.
Of Everybody.
No More.
Zero.
Zilch.
Zip.
Nada,
Nothing.

It'll feel good to finally get some sleep...

It won't. People cannot see into the future, at least not by any science I am aware of.
