Some women are overly sensitive to how another woman acts and assumes it is being flirtatious. I know many times working retail I was the greeter and was required to smile and say hello to everyone who walked in. Many times I had women damn near bite my head off b/c somehow me smiling and saying hello was flirting with their man (when it was what I was being paid to do!)
So before you get mad really stop and think if they were flirting or were they being nice to the customer.
And if they were flirting just do what I do....take it as a compliment that you have a sexy enough man that someone would make an obvious fool out of themselves.
Other than that or throwing a fit and making a fool out of yourself there's not much you can do.

The kind with little to no respect for a marriage nor other people. No self esteem, has to flirt and get a reaction to feel better about herself, a skank, a whore.
How do you handle it? You can be classy, smile and slip an arm into his, give her an "eat your heart out." I'm with the others when it comes to how HE handles it also.
Then, if you really want to make sure the ho doesn't do it to anyone else's husband, you throw the merchandise back onto the counter, cutting off her sale and find her manager, explain what's going on; after all, "the customer is ALWAYS right."
It's up to you, but I'd do it and not give it a second thought.

When you feel a woman is flirting, just counteract by being nice to her! I step up closer to him and get involved in the conversation. If she's flirting, she'll stop when I do this. If just being a good salesperson, she also talks to me. Because I do notice, when a woman flirts with him, he WILL frequent the place more, which is sooo childish I think, but I tell him she flirts with everyone, just watch her, so she can have repeat business. It's not like they really want to have an affair. That's where the women have to be careful-men will take it the wrong way and think they are sexually interested in them. I think business owners need to teach esp. the young ones how to be polite but not flirtatious!

There are a lot of nervy women out there, but if your man is not initiating it, don't worry about it. It happens to me all the time when me and my husband go out. He is 6'2", salt and pepper hair with the bluest eyes you've ever looked at and a personality that won't quit. Women flirt with him all the time with me standing right there. When we first got married it really bothered me, but now I just smile and inwardly laugh at the audacity of some women. 99% of the time, my husband is not even aware that woman are flirting with him and 100% of the time, he could care less if they were. They are just wasting their "flirt" on him. If your man is not initiating it, don't worry about it, just sit back and smile that other women find him as attractive as you do, but you know he is coming home with you!! (Now if one attempted to reach and touch him or anything like that, it would be different, then the claws come out!!)

Regardless on if she is trying to make a sale or not no self respecting woman would ever do this. She had to have known that he was married. I'm sure she saw the ring. Some girls just need this kind of attention to make themselves feel better.

Maybe she wasn't flirting with him!!! I use to wait tables and women would just fly off the handle because I was doing my job. Just because a woman is polite, looking the guy in the eye, smiling, saying please and thank you isn't a sign that the woman is flirting. Sometimes I felt I was suppose to be ***** so it would seem like I was in no way or no uncertain terms flirting. But then, I would make lousy money because I was a *****. Maybe you should look at your insecurity.

some people just flirt with everyone, but it is still very rude to do that while the wife is right there, she knows better, it's obvious he is married and yet she has no consideration. but i wouldn't worry myself with her actions, it's your husband you need to be sure of. make sure he is someone you can trust, so when another woman flirts with him, you will know he wont act on anything. my husband has shown me that i can totally trust him, and he even tells me about other women that flirt with him when i'm not around, and while i'm there he doesn't encourage their rude behavior.

It happens to me. I wouldnt say all the time, but I have witnessed sales women flirting with my husband.
I say take it as a compliment, and like your other answerer posted, watch your husbands behavior more than the saleswomens behavior.
