well you would have to say the current longest tenured guy on the Roster Tim Wakefield the guy as move from the bullpen back to the bullpen so many times you'd think he was a yo-yo
and after all the back and forths he never says a word he does what the team asks him to do. wether he says anything in the club house no 1 knows except the people in there ,but you never hear about him complaining . If you don't think of him as classy then it would have to be Jason "The Captain " Varitek.

Beckett, Lowell, Ortiz, Varitek, Papelbon, Schilling are all classy. It is so hard to choose, but if I had to is would be Varitek. He is just a great guy. He is an important player to have on defense. He does not get much credit though, but you never hear about him complaining. He is the guy who is telling the pitchers where to throw ball and what pitch to use and he is vital to the red sox defense.
No wonder he is the captain.

Class isn't the word that comes to mind when thinking of any Redsox. But don't feel bad, class is rare in professional sports. They're not paid to have class.
