There's a popular boy in my school. He's older than me, and I knew he wanted to be friends with me cuz he always talked to me. He looks like he's so confident you know. Once we were like the onlyones in school and we talked for like 2 hours, and he's like expressing all this stuff. Saying how he thinks he's lame. Then, he had to say "Your really, really pretty," I guess he felt like he could talk to me about stuff like that, and i like that, but then, a few days later, he's like "It sucks that I'm ugly" and I'm like "Nooo, you're really cute" I know that's what he wanted me to say. I could tell by the way he said it, and what was I supposed tosay anyways? He's deffenitely not ugly, but he isn't cute at all!! Or I don't think so... I guess I told him that cuz I really liked it that he told me I was pretty. I just don't want him to keep thinking that. Do you think lying like that is bad at all?

Nope...I odn't think so. People say little white lies like that all the time. It kind of boosts one's confidence in theirself. I don't think you were wrong for this...he probably thinks you like hoim now though:)
