a $4,000 computer in the state of New York. The website says if you want the computer you would have to pay state taxes

Be careful on this one - from the way you word your question, if they are saying you have to send THEM the money for the tax, sounds like it's probably a scam.

Well, what is the tax rate there? Couldn't be more than $50 to $100. Of course, what are your odds of wining?
