I'm going to dress up as a gangster (woman) for halloween, but I don't want to carry a tommy gun around since I'll be going to bars that night (even though it will look like a toy, I don't want to take chances being stopped by cops). What other accessories can I use to indicate what I'm dressed as? I'm making the costume myself so it won't look as "authentic" as something bought online so I need some good accessory ideas. The only thing I can think of is a cigar. Any ideas?

fake money and lots of it glued together (fanned out)to hold in your hand. jsut trying to help...monopoly money works:)

Get an old double breasted suit and a felt slouch hat. Depending on your build, the tighter the suit coat the better . Fake money is a nice added touch too.

The cigar suggests you're going after the Bonnie Parker look. Don't forget the black beret and the lace-up boots.

Buy some of that plastic silver jewelry they sell at the dollar store in the section with the lil girls jewelry and put red nail polish on it in spots 4 blood. Take brown eyeshadow and or lipliner to draw cuts on your arms and hands to show battlewounds.? IDK!!! Ive neva seen a female gangstar...a male one either...4 that matter. Well, on TV. Hope this helps or at least trips u out.
