Ya! It worked perfectly for us(my twin and I) its really easy, but i sugest you get shiskabab sticks to use instead of string because the string, like, frays and gets into the candy and, bleck! put about a 1/4 cup of sugar for every cup of water and it takes a REALLY long time, a lot longer than our recipe said...I hope you can get it to work cause its really nummeh... just boil it, put it in a jar(make sure not to let it carmalize) and put the stick in.

try this too...get those JUMBO pixie sticks that are like 2 ft long and use that for flavor, I did that with a grape one and it worked supprisingly well.

Not at home, but at school. It's difficult and hardly ever works. Try keeping the string in the water a bit longer.

YUP
What is the point. Its plain sugar so why not pour a teaspoon of sugar and just eat it?
As an experiment it was fun

Wow...You're really trying to make that? I used to like it when I was a kid in the early seventies. Farrell's Ice Cream Parlor used to sell it. It's nothing but pure sugar. Do you really want to make that?

yes, i dont remember how though, check out the recipes on google, search it up,
i think you have to boil the water, pour it into a jar, then set the string into the jar.

yes!!!! you have to make shure that it doesn't touch the sides of the jar, and make shure theres alot of the stuff in the water that makes the candy, works best that way
