i believe he split 1.3 million dollars with British research facility. This year i do believe he deserved it, or at least the scientists behind it did. What it really boils down to is when compared to this years achievements was it the best? probably, but when compared with other peace prices, it is barely passable as mediocre, it all comes down to what everyone else did that year, not throughout history.

Gore has made the Nobel Peace Prize look like a joke , at least to the future winners. If he did get money from it, it was money wasted.

I think he had to split the 1.5 million with the UN and no I don't think he deserves it. His movie was pure propaganda. He wants to silence any dissenting voice. Anytime that happens you have to be concerned about what they don't want others to hear.
