I just got my cousins old one, and i was wonderin' when it was made, how do i get the wireless internet to work? i have a linksys wireless-g notebook adapter card, do i need a special kind of modem on my computer at home? what do i need besides the card?

Hi. Linksys has a pretty inexpensive wireless router called the WRT54G that supports the 'g' spec at 54 Mbps. This review of the Dell seems pretty old, I think, based on the price. http://pcworld.about.com/news/Feb122002id83366.htm

C610, not that old, they still sell them at Dell. You just need the disc to run a wireless card, and the card.
Not sure what size drive, PIII, I suppose, I would stick to running XP on it. It would need a lot of upgrades to run vista. But it will play lots of games, it is actually a fairly usable computer.

Buy a Linksys WRT54G router. Easy to install and configure.
