No--and neither has any other government.

The closest, though, would probably be Cuba. Granted, there is the US embargo, but it has been meaningless for 40 of the45 years it's been in effect. Cuba has had a strong export and tourist economy for that entire time--theyhae plenty of "customers" besides the United States.

BEyond that, they have not had any particular pressure or interferance that is markedly different from what any nation-state has to deal with since the early 1960s.

socialism exists in many forms all over the world - it is the default system of many European democracies -particularly in Scandinavia. They probably would laugh at you if you asked that question there-- and the majority would understand you since they have some of the highest rates of English speakers as a foreign language in the world - must be something right with their educational system.
