Orthostatic hypotension is very common. Sudden rapid movements can cause a drop in your blood pressure especially if you are on bp medicines. Keep drinking fluids such as water not alcohol as alcohol lowers bp too. Dehydration can be fixed with fluid intake. Hope this helps you!

The_only_solorose is correct, but lack of hydration is not the only cause, especially when it occurs frequently and more severely.
Low blood pressure in older people is a common cause.
It can also (more commonly than is usually recognised) be due to iron deficiencies in your blood. A blood test from the Doc can tell you if this is the case (they sometimes also do a pinprick in the finger/thumb test, but this is less accurate and can often read higher levels of Iron in your blood than a proper blood test would show). Iron supplements and more green leafy veg (such as Spinach) should help over the long term. However, the low iron itself can also be not due to lack of Iron in your diet, but inability of your body to absorb the iron efficiently from your food.

it's a common complaint, it is called postural hypotension, and it is a sudden drop in blood pressure due to a change in position. Usually in younger people is caused by lack of adequate hydration, drink 2 liters of water a day and the problem should go away.
