Tonight, I was crying over the death of a friend, trying to hide it from my 4 yr old son. He came over to me on the couch with a tissue in his hand and wiped away my tears, kissed me on the forehead (the way I do with him) and said "it's better now mommy." It blew me away to see him with such a look of kindness.
