I'm not saying that these bands are better than the classics (in my opinion, they're not), but it's not so bad to have faith in the newer generations and once in a while, try something else.

I am very much musically impatient but I am going to try and listen anyways lol Well, overall I really liked it, even though I did just listen to every song once. Something that caught my ears was that during a few times in each song I could hear a bit of Agalloch. Also, I was hearing some Isis in their music too. I was actually trying to think about who the vocalist kind of reminded me of for the first few songs then it dawned on me during "Phoenix" that it sounds like Isis. As for the Opeth comparison, I can hear a bit of that and (Even though I know you're about to disagree with me) I like Opeth more. I think Mikael Akerfeldt is better, although that's not to take away from the lead singer of this band cause he sounds great too. Really good band and I want to listen to more of them sometime so thanks! MQ2: "Siamese" MQ3:Northland BQ: Oh you and your Opeth hate =P I'm sorry but I have to easily pick them, I honestly think they're one of the best modern metal bands.
