I need to clear the cmos on my toshiba satellite m65-s809 but I do not know how to do it. I thought that there might be a set of keys on the keyboard that clears the cmos but I am unsure. I thought it might be a set on pins and a jumper on the laptop but I do not know where the jumper and pins are located on the laptop( and I do not want to tear the whole thing apart ). Anyways thank you for your time and I appreciate it.

Hi. There is a jumper and a battery. Remove the battery, switch the jumper (should be right next to the battery) over one position, move it back and reinsert the battery. This should do it.

purely had a 1yr guarantee? could be purely as much less costly to alter the motherboard fairly than purchase a clean workstation. I even have had a Toshiba for over 6 years with one difficultpersistent failure after the 3yr guarantee became into up needless to say yet a comparatively undemanding restoration.
