What type(s) of make up or lingerie would anyone suggest?

Well..
If you're going for outrageous, get some fake eyelashes - the longer the better. Perhaps some glittered ones? For a sweet girly look, use a pink lipstick; for a really tarty look a bright red lipstick. For a 'natural' look use brown and pink eyeshadows, else a vivid blue or green depending on your outfit
As for lingerie, white is innocent, pink is nice, red is tarty (esp.silk) and black is sexy. Again, depending on the level of outrageousness you may want to choose a colour that shows your bra through your top!!

If you really want to go all out, then I'd suggest finding a store in your area that caters to cross-dressers & when you go there tell them what you have in mind. I'm sure they will be more than willing to help you become the girl of your dreams.
