Volume of fiber glass coating is

(3+2*05)^3 - 3^3 = 3.1^3 - 3^3 = 2.791 cubic inches

V1 = 3 x 3 x 3 in Â³
V1 = 27 in Â³

V2 = 3.05 x 3.05 x 3.05 in Â³
V2 = 28.373 in Â³

Volume of fibreglass = 1.373 inÂ³

Its volume=3^3=27 cubic inches
Length of each side of the cube including fibre-glass=3.05 in
The volume=(3.05)^3
=28.37 cubic inches
Therefore volume of fibre-glass
=28.37-27
=1.37 cubic inches
