I have dirt stains from feet in my shower, and a ring inside my bath tub. I have tried scrubbing it and soaking it with bleach but it hasn't worked. How can I remove these stains? Thank you

I have those at my house too. I usually spray 409 all over then let it set for a couple minutes. Then spray it again and use a wet Mr. Clean magic eraser thing. Most of it should come off easy but for some stuff you just have to scrub hard.

I have a problem with red clay (or mud) stains in the tub and shower. The only thing I have found that works other than soft scrub and an abrasive nylon pad (and a LOT of scrubbing) is Clorox toilet bowl cleaner. Make sure the surface is dry. Coat it with the Clorox (best to use the cling type) and let it sit overnight. Be sure to open a window or turn on a vent. The next day just rinse it off.

You might have "Hard" water, Meaning that there are some serious minerals coming thru the pipes. Do you have a problem with the shower head clogging too? That's a sure sign of hard water. You will have to get a heavy duty cleaner that has some harsh chemicals in it to clean the stains. IF you have a plastic tub you will really have to read the label and contents.

Ok, I haven't seen this answer and it really, really works.. Get some cheapie liquid dishwasher detergent and put a thin film all over you tub/tile surface.. Let it sit a few minutes and either scrub with a Magic Eraser or wipe with a damp cloth/rinse w/ hot water and it should be nice a white.... Good luck

Use Tang! That's right the breakfast drink. Works every time. Just don't drink it!!! No kidding, it really works!!! Used it to clean a tub in an apartment that was probably never cleaned. It looked brand new when I was finished. I'm told it works in dishwashers that are stained, too. Never tried that one.

The best thing for cleaning stains and even hard water stains especially.....is Iron Out. The smell is definitely unbearable, but worth the results!! Hope this helps.

I personally like Lysol Mildrew Remover w/ Bleach. I had a shower back up and it left the floor black and nothing would take it off. I sprayed some of this on it and left it for awhile and it ALL came off!! Make sure you have a little ventilation because of the bleach!

Fiberglas, vinyl or ceramic?? Fiberglas and vinyl can not handle rough abrasives.
White or cider vinegar will take most stains off. Apply as hot as possible and use an abrasive pad that will not scratch vinyl or Fiberglas.
It works great.
Also if you live in a boating area, marinas all have great products for removing stains and restoring surfaces.

My tub holds onto everything too. I've tried comet, clorox bathroom cleaner, everything. Then I found the perfect thing! Mr. Clean erasers. They get up EVERYTHING!! They get the tub spotless. My son wrote on the wall with a Sharpie and it got that off. They're in the cleaning aisle. They work great!
