Gundam Wing Endless Waltz - probably the first anime film ive ever seen, and still holds a place in my heart for its awsomeness. i cant remember much about the movie, all i remember was that it was different from the other gundam series and was very deep and cool.*****

Lupin the 3rd in The Castle of Cagliostro - I loved the series, and even though i havnt seen any of the other Lupin movies, this one was great. After stealing thousands of dollars, Lupin discovers that they were all counterfeits, very special counterfeits. he goes to a small country known underground for their counterfeiting. after discovering a princess in trouble, his priorities switch to freeing her, and disvoering the way in which this country can make such perfect counterfeits. ****

Detective Conan - Pretty much any of the movies i loved, but The Last Wizard of the Century and Private Eye's Requiem were my favorites. Last Wizard of the Century about Kaitou Kid stealing a prized egg, then shot down. a long search between an heir to the egg, secrets of a castle, and Rasputans heir looking for revenge. Private Eyes Requiem starts with the Detective Boys, Conan, Kogoro and Ran all going to a new amusement park. They are all taken hostage (without most of them knowing) and Conan and Kogoro are forced to solve a case, while figuring out what the case is! If they dont do it in time, or they go too far away, or contact the police, or one of the kids leaves the park, then the bomb they are all wearing will explode. *****

Yes, Grave of the Fireflies is an excellent and touching movie. Make sure you see Mamoru Oshii's Ghost in the Shell films, Demon City Shinjuku, Wicked City, Vampire Hunter D and Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust, Jin-Roh; The Wolf Brigade, Ninja Scroll, Blood: the last Vampire

Some of these are old school but all very good in my opinion.

Look up The Triplets of Belleville. It's a French film, came out around '03, and is one of the best movies EVER. The animation is gorgeous -- maybe even better than Miyazaki's. Also, a bit more mainstream, Pan's Labyrinth. It is an amazing film. Let's see... if you're into the anime stuff... Millennium Actress is a good one.

i love miyazaki, and you've seen some good movies. but i guess you could try Nausicca of the valley of the wind, Castle in the sky, if you've ever watched inuyasha the third movie is definitely the best, you see his father.
endless waltz is ok, better if you're into gundam wing the original. none of the dbz movies. period.
vampire hunter d is a classic, but probably not as good if you don't like gothic stuff.
and if you can find it, the deathnote series on dvd. not sure if it's out or not, but it's a AMAZING anime, with the best story of any i've seen (and i've seen a few)
or you could get my nieghbor totoro. but i've never seen it.

I'm just going to second The Girl Who Leapt Through Time.
Its really good, and has won a ton of awards in Japan, including best animated film of 2006.

Wings of Honneamise. You'll swear this came out of Ghibli but it was done by Gainax.
Ninja Scroll the movie.
Origin Spirits of the Past - if you can find it in anything but German or out of sync English subs. (Nothing stranger than a Japanese anime character speaking fluent German.)
