first off, im not a Patriots fan and i dont think Tom Brady is the greatest QB of all time like some of you bandwagon Pats fans think. but what you and the idiots of ESPN dont realize is that the O-Line is the reason why Brady is playing well right now. has Brady been sacked yet? the offensive line gets no love and no credit when they are the ones doing the hard work. Joey Harrington would be playing really well if he had a O-Line like the Patriots.

agree? or disagree?

I agree that Tom Brady has always had an incredible pass blocking offensive line around him, but I have to admit that he is still a good quarterback. He's got a great pocket presence and he does a lot of subtle movements within the pocket to buy himself more time... but i think if he had been drafted onto a team with a bad o-line that he wouldn't be nearly as good as he is now... By the way, I hate Tom Brady and the Patriots with a fiery passion

gee....you know, I use this same argument alot...but for Peyton Manning. How much credit does his o-line get?

BTW...not a Pats fan...but I stopped letting fan boyu delusions blind me a long time ago. Yes Brady has a great O-line, yes he has been sacked....but if you watched the game....he also makes the play with the D in his grill......and I dont care who you are...that takes serious skill, and a pair of big ones. Guess what...this is the same line he has had for a while...yep. Your point? All winning teams start at the O-line (with the possible exception of Bill Walsh's 49ers.....but imagine what they would have done if Walsh had paid more for the o-line.) Take big ben or Mannings O-line away, and replace it with, oh I dont know...Atlantas? then lets see which of the three make the plays. Guess what? It would be Brady.
You see...his line is good.....but it is also the way Brady moves IN the pocket that helps the o-line. Goes both ways.

So....I disagree. Would Harrington play better? Yes. Would he win a Super Bowl. Not even close. If you watched the 50 yarder to Moss in double coverage...and still hate on Brady.....thats all it is, Hate and Jealousy.

Brady has been sacked 7 times this year.

Harrington couldn't play like that on a high school team, Brady is having an outstanding season but he's not the best of all time. judging the best of all time by rings is sooooo ESPN. Dan Marino is the best to ever play the game & he doesn't have any jewelry. Peyton Manning is crushing every record he had to this point in his career but, it's too early to put him in Marino's class. that Brett Favre guy is pretty good too.

Brady has just now become the QB everyone (media) is crowning him as. Brady walked into a perfect situation, a great team & did what he needed him to do BUT, starting last year he started seeing the game better & now this year w/ the WRs he has he is putting up Manning type numbers.

that O line has been good for sometime, this year they are better at pass protect than opening a hole for a RB. if they don't get the run game going, they could very well start seeing lower points scored & a few losses.

Yes, the O-Line, as you call it, is a good part of why Brady is playing so well... as are the receivers, the coaches and all others who give Brady the support he needs........ that being said.... Brady is the first one, to give his O-Line credit, he speaks of them every time he has a press conference... he also will not do a TV commercial without the front line, as part of the ad.....

yes they do the hard work. and yes.. they do get credit, as a TEAM, because that's what it's about.. it's a TEAM sport.. if Brady does well, it's because the TEAM is working hard and doing their job.... you can't seperate one from the other... otherwise you could just have Brady and the other QB's tossing footballs through a target and call it a gam....

So you think, just to get it straight, Cassel is going to have a better 2009 - 2010 season? Cause you start out talking about getting the ready for the next two years of free agency (talking long term) then you go into winning the Super Bowl in 2010. You have to know Brady is better for the Pats in 2010 to win the Super Bowl, then Cassel is. If the Patriots were to trade Brady to team in need of a QB, they would ask for some crazy offerings in return. Cassel would do just as good as he did last year. A non playoff run!!! I hate the Patriots and love to see them lose, so I think this is a great move you have come up with. If the Pats want to lose in 2010, trade Brady, keep Cassel...

Uh...Yeah...Jason Taylor got a sack yesterday(Dolphins)...No one I know is so naive to think Brady is the best QB of all time...He is definitely in the top 10, and he probably will be the greatest before he's done...If you talk bandwagon, better include the Colts and Peyton Manning in there too...He is not the greatest QB either...Joe Montana still is for now...

Have you forgotten when the Cowboys took the ball away from him and scored a touchdown? However although Brady may not be the best ever, He is certainly one of them.
I am not a Pats fan either, but facts are facts.

Agreed, O-line has done amazing. While they do get credit, it isn't enough. However, protecting the QB just doesn't look exciting enough to make it on highlight reels.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but, Tom has been sacked six or seven times now so far this season.

In the game against the Cowboys, Greg Ellis not only sacked Brady, but also forced a fumble that led to a Cowboy touchdown.

Umm yes he's been sacked. In fact he was sacked by my Dallas Cowboys 3 times in the first quarter of that game.
