How to make a model of a windmill?

The windmill model is of a type used to pump water on farms. (You must use Adobe Acrobat Reader download and print the page with the pattern.)

Print the pattern for the windmill. Then copy it onto heavier weight paper such as cover stock or tag board. If you use 9" x 12" tag board, you can make the pattern 10% bigger on a copy machine (set machine at 110%).

Paper Fastener Cut out the windmill base, wind wheel and tail vane pieces. You will need tape or glue and a paper fastener to finish your windmill. There are more directions on the page with the pattern.

looks to me you want 2 substantial areas--you ought to construct a sprint "tower" (the living house, which you would be able to talk) and the Blades themselves. And, if that is nicely surely worth the hassle, you want the blades to instruct a sprint motor and generate some volts of ability. (ok, ok, technically 'volts' isn't 'ability'--gimme a destroy right here willya?) i'd purchase some dozen sticks of a million/8 " sq. shrink balsa timber from a interest save and construct up the tower, or living house. Use the balsa timber for the fan blade shaped vanes, too. Then use a sprint slot-motor vehicle electric powered motor for the 'engine'...they do nevertheless make slot autos do now not they? finished plans for something like this would take countless pages, so i'm hoping this short description facilitates. RotsARuck!

How detailed should it be?
There are most probably hundreds of ways to do it.
There are also various types of kits available
e.g.:

You can buy the plan alone or a complete kit - use "windmill" in the search box on top of the page to see all their windmills.
