i think that saturday will tell the tale. the usc game is the biggest game of the year in college football. if oregon can get by usc and then az st next week i think there's no doubt that they'll be ranked number 1 or 2. this week i say oregon 45 usc 35.

The way this season has gone so far, I definitely think Oregon has a shot at the NC. They only need to jump from #5 to #2, and there's over a month left to play. I personally don't think they'll make it due to a very tough schedule remaining, but if they win out they will have a great argument that they should be in the NC.

I think they have a great chance, but they are short a couple of receivers right now which could really hurt them. They also don't control their own destiny. They need a couple of teams ahead of them to lose.
But why get worked up about the BCS Championship? Playing in the Rose Bowl is almost as good.
