Thanks for all your honest answers. I prefer the answers without name-calling, they seem more intelligent and open-minded.

I don't know if he can win the GoP over. Even so, i still like the guy, and would seriousely consider voting for him if given the option. He is physcially conservative, believes in a smaller government, more affordable healthcare, and backs it up with a plan that makes some sense.
Listening to alot of other canidates. They talk about balancing the budget, and cutting taxes, while increasing funding for key governmental programs....but don't explain how this miracle will happen.

I think what motivates most of his supporters is the breath of fresh air he brings.

Every other politician talks about this new program or that new program, this or that is how we should structure the government of another country. More spending, More government, More programs, More control. This simply means less and less freedom.

Ron Paul speaks from the principle of, "whenever the government gets involved in regulating morality of citizens or deciding how another country should be governed, it is infringing on the liberty of the individual." This is the United States I was taught about in school, but found that the real America to be on a different road. Ron Paul is my Hero. I've never had one in 30 years of life, but this guy is unmistakably the real deal in patriotism.

My defender of:
LIFE - LIBERTY - The Pursuit of HAPPINESS.

Ron Paul propagates the Constitution - there is nothing wrong or wacky about that. If you do not like him that is purely out of bias or speculation towards humans of his stature/physicalness. What comes out of his mouth, his ideas, which is all he is, ideas that he is a vehicle for, come from the Constitution. There is nothing more American than that. He is just a vehicle for True American ideas, ideas that started this country and made it great. He is the only one who can take it back in that direction! True that! Double true!

I like Ron Paul because he stands for the minimalist governmental ideas upon which the country was founded upon.

there is no reason to dislike ron paul if you dislike him in any way you have been lied to or you dont have any common sense. he is the only honest candidate and will be the greatest president in history. (given the issues he will be facing)

Honest politician who is a fiscal conservative that wants to end the war, exactly what the country needs right now.

BTW he will be the only person to do something about the North American Union and all the illegals.

I think he is fantastic

I wish we had more candidates willing to speak out without concern for the media like Ron Paul does ... if he wasn't so socially antiquated he might earn my vote

I don't like or dislike Ron Paul, but the man is a wack-job.

"The United States was attacked because we invaded Saudi Arabia." Congressman, we don't have any troops in Saudi Arabia and have not had any since 1992!

He does not follow current events closely and has no idea about foreign affairs.

I like Ron Paul because he is not a Bush-Republican.
